A warrior for inertia and a champion of velocity, Eric has been cited for reckless speed in six states and one ski resort. At college he was caught masterminding a laundry cart racing empire. In high school, the inline skate marks on the new high school track were traced to his closet. So, in a quest for natural speed, Eric ran and ran and ran. Good enough for varsity but not really fast enough to be really fast. then one day he got some racing shoes. Mama said they were his magic shoes, and suddenly, inexplicably, nobody ever caught Eric again. Lock up the women and children and hide the espresso....in 2008, Eric gets his magic bike.
